An updated and informative Linkedin profile can help recruiters to get to know you better. Linkedin can be a good complement to your cover letter, given that you have updated your profile and explained your experiences. Sometimes, your LinkedIn can be enough to get an interview. Our three quick tips are: 

• Build your network. Make sure to include a short message where you explain why you want to connect if you do not know the person from before. 
• Upload an audience adapted profile picture 
• Ask your colleagues and former project members to give endorsements and verify your skills
